Mark Smith

Mark W. Smith, an expert in all things insurance, founded M.W. Smith & Associates, LLC in 1982. Mark started his own insurance agency with the vision of putting his clients first in acheiving financial freedom. With expierence in starting out as a financial advisor, Mark had achieved his goal of expanding his expertise into group benefits. Mark then founded My Benefits Administrator, LLC in 1997. 

Mark is a Michigan native of Wyoming with a Bachelor's degree in business administration from Grand Valley State University. Mark is a 1995 graduate of Leadership Grand Rapids. He is Licensed in Life, Accident and Health Insurance, as well as Securities Licensed. Mark is a Registered Representative through Cambridge Investment Research Inc., a Broker/Dealer, member FINRA/SIPC. Mark enjoys being involved in the community by serving on the Board of Wyoming - Kentwood Chamber of Commerce from 1986 - 2002. He was also past President and current Board Member of the University Club of Grand Rapids. Besides the importance of community outreach, Mark enjoys singing in his bluegrass band called "The Rangers", trail riding with his wife of 32 years and their horses, and enjoys being a grandpa to his 9 grandchildren.
